Bespoke Shopify Store

Through designing and building a Shopify store tailored to Aussie Sock Shop we were able to create a new brand identity that was full of personality and helped them to stand out from their competition; hopefully not just creating a website that is great to use but also adding an element of fun.

Usability

With a relatively large product catalogue, it was vital that we created a site that was easy to use and navigate. To help this we introduced some key elements including a rich onsite search experience, a mega menu and an advanced collection filtering solution. All with the aim of getting customers to relevant products as pain-free as possible.

We also ensured that throughout the journey the USPs of the brand were communicated prominently; reminding customers why they should choose to shop with Aussie Sock Shop

Average Order Value

An ongoing challenge for a sock and accessories brand is increasing average order value, with a relatively low product price the key to this is focussing on increasing the number of products per order. Various strategies were introduced to try to improve this metric, which included a range of product recommendations and basket-building techniques.

Another key way of targeting this metric was the introduction of ‘add to cart’ functionality directly from the collection page and product recommendations. This functionality encourages users to quickly add multiple items to their cart with ease.
